About Us
CIMRO is a not-for-profit quality improvement organization with over 50 years of medical management experience. The services provided from CIMRO’s corporate office, located in Champaign, Illinois, are focused on healthcare quality improvement through independent peer review. CIMRO’s contracts for independent peer review are nationwide with hospital corporations and health systems; as well as individual hospitals of all sizes, from rural and critical access hospitals, to community hospitals, to tertiary care and large academic medical centers. CIMRO also provides independent peer review services for ambulatory surgery centers, outpatient behavioral health centers and medical group practices. Since 2009, CIMRO has continued to be a URAC accredited IRO.
