August is National Immunization Awareness Month, an annual observance highlighting the importance of getting recommended vaccines at various life stages.
 
The Centers for Disease control and Prevention is marking the month with its “Let’s RISE (Routine Immunizations on Schedule for Everyone) program. The aim is to help adults and children get on schedule with routine vaccinations. More information is available at: https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/.
